Great Show - Look Forward to Seeing Them Again
I attended the concert on Sunday June 19th in San Diego. It was a six hour drive since I live in the Eastern Sierra. Well worth it. I had the privilege of being on the front row. I am 61 and have been listening to Pink Floyd since I was 14. But, I have never heard the music played live. When they played Time, I was emotionally overwhelmed by the experience.
I am grateful to the members of the band for their dedication to the music and their skills as artists and musicians. I grew up attending many symphonies (parents were classical music fans). I realized that these concerts are to me what symphonies were to them: hearing the music of composers who will not direct or play the music ever again, but played by people who are committed to its precise and highly entertaining performance.
